Accessibility Statement
Matteo’s of Hallandale is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We most recently reviewed this site on November 3, 2026, using automated tools, keyboard testing and screen reader testing. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some parts of the site may not yet meet this standard.
What we have done
- Added a “Skip to main content” link and a clear page structure with headings and landmarks.
- Made the main menu, mobile menu, image gallery and slideshows usable with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Added a pause button to slideshows that move automatically.
- Added text descriptions to gallery photos.
- Labeled form fields and footer links, and warned when a link opens in a new tab.
- Gave embedded maps and reservation widgets descriptive titles.
- Checked text contrast and page layout on small screens.
Known limitations
- Some features are provided by outside companies, including online reservations (OpenTable), online ordering, gift cards and balance checks (Toast), the Google map, and the contact form spam check (reCAPTCHA). We do not control their accessibility.
- Some documents, such as menus and catering or event packages, are provided as PDF files and may not be fully accessible. If you cannot use a document, contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
